Düzce Türsan Rest Area

The WC, ablution (şadırvan) and prayer areas we designed for the Türsan Rest Area in Düzce aim to raise the quality of the short but comfortable breaks travellers need on the road.

We were responsible for the architectural planning and the visualisation of these spaces. Heavy visitor circulation, privacy, accessibility and easy wayfinding were the main design criteria.

The WC and ablution areas follow a clear, separated circulation scheme, while the prayer room is planned as a calm and functional place of worship. The renderings show precisely how the spaces will look and how they will be used.
